Gas burner is designed to support the combustion process. All burners used in gas boilers, according to operation principle, are divided into two main types: atmospheric burners and fan burners, or supercharged. One-stage burners, two-stage burners and burners with smooth flame control are distinguished by method of flame modulation.

Burners of gas fuel are compact, with low noise. They provide high combustion efficiency and environmental protection. These burners operate on a gas-air mixture which feeds to the combustion nozzle. They work on ON/OFF principle. The burners are fully automated and equipped with a control system that guarantees maximum safety. They can be connected to any type of furnace, both under pressure and in a depressed state, as required by operating conditions. The gas part is made in a way when burner can work and at very low pressure. These burners are made in a way of  any of their components are easily accessible for inspection without disconnection from gas network. Burner housing completely provides full protection and sound insulation.

Installation of gas burner is a procedure that must be carried out by qualified personnel, employees of a specialized organization licensed to carry out such type of  work.With a board screws, gas burner is installed in a vertical or horizontal position, depending on unit design features where burner is built in. Attachment to the boiler takes place by sliding flange.

Adjustment, re-installation of gas burner, dismantling is done with a universal wrench for hexagon socket screws. Burner, providing work with electrical connection, assumes inclusion of fork connectors, coming from control panel of boiler to plug sockets with 4 or 7 contacts. The burner connection diagram and electrical switching circuit are included in burner package.

Before gas burner installing, it is necessary to ensure that room with unit, where burner is installed, supply and exhaust ventilation, calculating cross-sectional area and direct air flow. Supply air ducts should be located in relation to exhaust air ducts so air is renewed throughout room. For wiring, control power circuits, which are powered by three-phase alternating current network, are connected only between the grounded middle and outer wires. Control circuit in ungrounded network is powered by an adjustment transformer. Pole of regulating transformer, which is used as an intermediate wire, must be grounded. Phase and middle wire must be correctly polarized.
Installation of a gas burner (in threaded connections of a gas pipeline) involves sealing materials, tightness of which is checked by soap solution or other foaming materials that do not cause corrosion. All fittings must be secured without possibility of vibration. If unit is used without a gas meter – for example, in liquefied gas installations, it should be noted that settings of gas burner may not be optimal, due to  lack of a basic measurement capability.
